Use QuickBooks Online accounting software to maintain financial records. Compute, classify and record numerical data. Perform any combination of routine calculating, posting and verifying duties to obtain primary financial data for use in keeping accounting records for small businesses. Can also check the accuracy of figures, calculations and postings pertaining to business transactions. 

Licensure/certification earned

Students are prepared to take the Certiport Intuit QuickBooks Certified User (QBCU) exam.

Funding is available to help pay for short-term job training. Up to 90% of costs may be covered to complete this training program.

Curriculum

QuickBooks Online prepares students in computerized accounting for online business. Using QuickBooks® Online accounting software, learn to manage QuickBooks setup and maintenance, manage lists, track sales and income, track purchases and expenses, create and customize reports, customize tools, save time using devices and software, and complete the payroll process. Upon completion, students are prepared for the Intuit QuickBooks Certified User Online certification exam, taken as the final assessment. Certification is not guaranteed. It is strongly recommended that students have basic technology skills in addition to accounting and/or bookkeeping experience to be successful in this course.
